This is an example of the ARC test (high-voltage arc) on ready-to-wear clothing for an electricity company in protex/modacryl.
Here one tests the change in the fabric after a current surge of 15.2 Kvolt and 8000 A over a large electrode distance. The purpose of this test is to measure the protection against 2nd degree burns afforded by the clothes. |
