In recent years, many municipal administrations have made serious efforts to explain to their inhabitants that municipal personnel do expert and professional work as well.Wearing uniform professional work clothing can make an important contribution to conveying this message. Many municipal administrations  attach increasing importance to having a "house style" for the municipality. Applying this house style to work clothing as well isn’t expensive, and it can be accomplished very quickly. An excellent example of this is the municipality of Zoersel, where the new work clothing was even presented to the press during an enjoyable ´fashion´ show.
